How to Login to Moodle (Learning Platform)

How to access Moodle


Moodle is your AIH Learning platform. Moodle will allow you to view your learning resources, assessments and where your grades will be located.


Step 1: Navigate to https://moodle.aih.edu.au/


Step 2: Click on "Student and Lecturer Login"

Step 3: Fill out your Microsoft sign-in details.

  • Username: StudentID@students.aih.edu.au
  • Password: Your date of birth in the DDMMYY format.

Note: If your date of birth is 03 April 1997, your password will be "030497". Just so you know, the last two digits will ALWAYS be the last two digits of the year.

Step 4: It will now ask you to verify your Microsoft account by push notification


👏You will now be able to access Moodle.

Did you get the following message (This username may be incorrect?)

PROBLEM: There might be a few,the account doesn't exist, misspelled, or you are in the wrong Microsoft portal

SOLUTION:

  1. Ensure that you are entering the correct email address. It is not your personal Outlook or Gmail account; your account always ends with @students.aih.edu.au. There is no NSW as we are no longer using aih.nsw.edu.au
  2. Ensure that you are not pasting the email with special characters like empty spaces at the front or after your email
  3. Check that you are logging in to the office.com portal
  4. Ensure that you are entering your correct student ID
  5. IF nothing is working, reach out to it@aih.edu.au for future investigation

Did you get the following message (Your account or password is incorrect?)

PROBLEM: Most likely, you forgot your password. It happens from time to time.

SOLUTION: Click on the "Forgot my password" and follow the instructions.


Did you get the following message (You can't reset your own password?)

PROBLEM: You have not initially activated your Office account, the Microsoft portal cannot verify you as you have no mobile number or 2FA in your profile

SOLUTION: contact the IT (it@aih.edu.au) and state your student ID, Australian mobile phone, and the issue "can not reset my password"
